Digital Corporation was founded
in 1974 by Dr. C.J. Peters to design and manufacture digital
panel meters. Today, led by his son Jeffrey Peters, Precision
Digital manufactures a wide range of digital panel and field
meters for all types of process measurement and control
applications. While our product line may have evolved from the
nixie tube days of the 1970s to state-of-the-art

Loop-Powered Panel Meter with Loop-Powered Backlight
The PD683 is a
general purpose loop-powered digital meter for safe area applications.
The four front panel buttons make the setup and programming an easy
task. Five digits, bargraph, engineering units, and trend arrows provide
a clear and attractive presentation of the process. The PD688 is an FM
Approved & CSA Certified intrinsically safe and non-incendive
loop-powered digital meter. The PD688 can be installed almost anywhere
because of the approvals and the large backlit LCD. It can be easily
read under virtually any lighting conditions, from total darkness to
direct sunlight. Square root and programmable exponent functions are
standard features on both the PD683 & PD688. These features allow for
conditioning of outputs from non-linear transmitters without adding
external components to the system and the convenience of scaling without
a signal source makes the PD683 & PD688 the ideal choice for any process
display application.

The MINIMUX® is
a microprocessor-based 8 channel analog input scanner/multiplexer and
annunciator that provides low-cost automatic switching for multi- point
display and alarm systems. Each Minimux® can automatically switch up to
eight inputs to another device such as a digital panel meter,
controller, or PLC. Signal switching is done with reed relays making the
Minimux® ideal for switching thermocouples, RTDs, control loops, and AC
& DC signals. |
From urgent
alarms to routine messages, the PD141AFO Vigilante® handles all types of
operational messages with simplicity and economy. The Vigilante®
delivers clear, eye catching (and ear catching) information to the plant
operators. Alarm outputs from Precision Digital meters, alarm relays,
logic levels from 5 to 28 VDC, and switches for parameters such as
temperature, pressure, flow, level and proximity can all be fed directly
into the Vigilante®. |

The Fluidwell F-Series is a

PD202 General Purpose Gauge
The PD202 offers 0.5% of
span accuracy, while the stainless steel sensor and socket make
this product suitable not only for dry air applications but for
other media as well. This product offers selectable units of measure so rather than
purchasing one gauge for each unit of measure required, the solution
is one gauge for multiple units of measure. The PD202 is standard with many features not offered, or
offered only as options, on competitor’s digital gauge products,
such as peak hold and 4.5 digit display. When compared to mechanical
gauges the PD202 offers overall enhanced value. |

Trident
Enclosures
The
Trident
style meters are available with a wide variety of NEMA 4 & 4X
enclosures to help them withstand the harsh operating environment of
an industrial plant. Meters are mounted in the enclosure door so all
programming and operational functions are available without opening
the enclosure. The PDA2501-PDA2706 enclosures feature a hinged door.
The larger enclosures (e.g. PDA2504-PDA2512) will also house other
Precision Digital meters. |

The

& Temperature Controllers are available with a wide variety of
enclosures. In some models, the controllers are mounted in the
enclosure door so all programming and operational functions are

These
Explosion-Proof Control Stations can be used with explosion-proof
meters or with digital panel meters that are mounted in
explosion-proof enclosures. The Control Stations contain either 1,
2, or 3 switches that can be connected to terminals on Precision
