EDCO USA was founded in 1994 in response to a growing need for
high quality, cost-effective vacuum related automation devices
manufactured in the United States. Since then EDCO has become a
leader in industrial vacuum technology design expanding their
product line of vacuum components to include a wide range of vacuum
pumps, pads, generators, check valves, grippers, and suction cups.
In addition to the many standard products, EDCO also makes
customized or made-for-purpose products for individual applications. EDCO prides itself on offering compact and innovative solutions
for the industrial vacuum-holding market. Whether standard or
custom, all of EDCO's products are developed using only high
quality, rugged materials suitable for industrial service.

Industrial Vacuum Pumps |
|
EDCO Vacuum Pumps
include anodized aluminum bodies, stainless steel valve plates, brass
ejector nozzles and stainless steel fasteners at a price substantially less
than our competitor's plastic component pumps. Our modular pump design
allows field expansion/conversion of pump capacity and can be easily
disassembled for cleaning or replacement of parts such as seals or ejector
modules. We continually develop new products and customized designs that may
not appear below, so give us a call if you don't find what you are looking
for - we may already have a solution for you!

Miniature
“Chip” Vacuum Pumps
EDCO Vacuum
Chip Pumps were named after electronic circuit chips whose small
size and versatility have made modern products more efficient,
compact, and affordable. Our low-cost Chip pumps will do the same
things for your vacuum systems. Chip pumps provide the performance
you would expect from a multi-stage multi-ejector air powered vacuum
pump. To increase pump capacity, we simply increase the number of
ejector nozzle sets or add another pump module to the assembly
stack. |

 |
Single
Stage Vacuum Pumps
EDCO
single-stage pumps provide the instantaneous response common to air
operated devices in addition to being compact, light and cost-effective.
Rugged all-metal construction will provide years of trouble-free
service. Our no-clog flow-through design is perfectly suited for
packaging and other applications involving paper fibers or other debris
that can be ingested into the vacuum system. |

 |
Multi
Stage Vacuum Pumps
EDCO’s
compressed air-powered Classic Pumps feature complex high flow
multi-stage, multi-ejector designs. They are available with five
different series of ejector nozzles: M, ML, E, L and X-series with
different performance characteristics that give system designers a wide
selection range instead of the one-size-fits-all approach. |
|
 |
EDCO AX Pumps
EDCO's AX multi-stage vacuum pumps
provide a wide array of styles and configurations to
exactly meet system requirements. Compressed air-powered
Classic Pumps feature complex high flow multi-stage,
multi-ejector designs. |

Large Vaccum
Pumps
EDCO' offers dual, triple, and quad
base large vacuum pumps. |
|
 |
Transfer Pumps
These pumps are used to move bulk dry
goods or small parts. |

Vacuum Cups
- "Suction Cups" |
|
Suction cup is the usual industrial term for a vacuum cup.
Most cups are round because that is a strong shape that
resists collapse under vacuum pressure and it efficiently
distributes load forces through the cup walls to the fitting.
A circular shape also provides the greatest area for the
amount of space it occupies. Industrial cups usually employ a
metal fitting for mounting the cup and for connecting a vacuum
source to allow the inner volume to be evacuated. Suction cups are made of rubber and include a flared lip to
form a flexible seal against a work piece to allow the cup to
be evacuated with a vacuum pump. Several cups can be connected
to a central pump, or a small vacuum pump can be used for each
cup.

EDCO manufacturers a wide variety of
vacuum valves to meet your applications needs:
-
Dual
Flow Valves: Limit vacuum leakage in a system
where some of the suction cups may not be sealing
contact with the work piece.
-
Tri-Flow
Valves: A cross between Flow Sensor Valves and
Dual-Flow Fittings. They limit vacuum leakage in a
system where some of the suction cups may not be in
sealing contact with the work piece.
-
Flow
Sensor Valves: Eliminate the problem of vacuum
loss thru non-working standard cups or thru valved
cups overhanging the work piece edge.
-
Release
Check Valves: Used for high-flow vacuum release
applications such as those involving vacuum reservoirs
or larger mono-stage or multi-stage vacuum pumps.
-
Vacuum
Check Valves: Used to hold downstream vacuum
whenever the vacuum source is removed or lost.
-
Vacuum
Check Valves with Release Check: Used with a
single suction cup so a non-porous, high value, work
piece won’t be immediately dropped if the system
vacuum source is lost.
-
Vacuum
Latch Release Valve: Used to latch and hold vacuum
within the suction cup until a positive pressure
signal operated a pilot valve, causing the vacuum to
dissipate and release the part.

-
Tee
Adaptors: Mounts any suction cup having a female fitting and
allows daisy chaining vacuum tubing from cup to cup to simplify
plumbing.
-
Level
Compensators: Used to compensate for height
differences on a work piece surface.
-
Filters:
Both T-Style and Inline Filters.
-
Sheet
Separators: Used to warp the edges of sheet goods
to promote separation from the next sheet in a stack.
-
Blow-off
Module: Pneumatic Blow-off Module provides 25cc of
stored compressed air to give a robust pulse to
dissipate vacuum in a system whenever the vacuum pump
air supply is vented.
