Automatic Transfer Switches

Customer service, rock-solid dependability, and the industry’s highest performance have made ASCO the first choice in emergency power for more than 110 years. Our power transfer switches are used in more emergency power backup systems worldwide than any other. ASCO is the name behind most of the technological advances in transfer switch design, and we have more patents than all other manufacturers combined. ASCO transfer switches are the first choice for installations of every kind, from homes and small businesses to the largest financial data centers and hospitals in the world.

ASCO SERIES 165 Power Transfer Switches

ASCO SERIES 165 Automatic Transfer Switch products provide all the intelligence your generator needs to make sure the power stays on when utility power fails. It automatically senses loss of utility power, and signals your generator to start and restore power to your business or home. The SERIES 165 Automatic Transfer Switch will automatically transfer your vital loads back to utility power when it has been restored. Working hand in hand with your generator, ASCO’s SERIES 165 Automatic Transfer Switch silently provides dependable 24-hour protection from a power failure, and springs into action only when needed.

ASCO SERIES 7000 Power Transfer Switches

ASCO Power Transfer Switches are the standard of the industry. High speed transfer of loads between alternate sources of power, regardless of ampacity size, is achieved by a reliable, field proven solenoid operating mechanism. When combined with a programmable microprocessor controller with keypad and LCD display, they offer the most advanced method of transferring all types of loads, such as motors, electronic drives, UPSs and microprocessor based systems. 7000 SERIES Power Transfer Switches are available open or enclosed, in ampacity sizes from 30 through 4000 amperes with the largest selection of optional accessories offered anywhere. All switching configurations are available with an integrally mounted bypass-isolation switch and/or rated for use in service entrance applications.

ASCO SERIES 7000SL Soft Load Transfer Switches

The ASCO 7000 Series Soft Load Power Transfer Switch synchronizes and parallels two independent power sources, without interrupting power flow. The switch can be programmed to either maintain parallel operation of both power sources, or transfer the load to the onsite generating unit, avoiding transients caused by block loading.
