Combustion Valves
The application of valves and accessories for use on combustible media requires careful consideration of the application and use to assure proper and optimal operation. Consideration in valve selection must be given to the function of the valve. Generally a combustion train includes 2 shutoff valves on both the pilot and main media feed lines. Combustible media includes natural gas and oil, and this section is organized into sections for each media. Additionally special constructions developed for use on combustible media are shown. These solenoid operated valves handle combustion system pilot & main line fuel shutoff & control needs. These valves are available in 2-way normally closed, normally open, manual reset and 3 way diversion. ASCO valves are available in brass, aluminum and stainless steel. Features include junction box, pipe taps, visual indication, proof of closure, leading agency approvals and pipe connections from 1/8� to 3�. Most valves are rated for -40�F service for outdoor installation in frigid climates. 	HOV1 2-Way-Normally Closed OIL Valves These bronze body globe type, teflon seated, 300 psi fuel oil shutoff valves are ideal for large oil fired commercial and industrial boilers and process heating applications. Pipe connections from 1/2" to 1". These valves close in less than 1 sec when power is removed.

	8044 Normally Closed Manual Reset Valves Provides on-off control of fuel gas. Provides visual indication of the valves open or closed position. The free handle will not open the valve until the solenoid is energized allowing the lever to engage, then the lever can be manually raised to the latched popsition to open the valve.
